All of the areas on this page offer "first-serve" volunteer opportunities; places you can try out serving for a test period and minimal commitment.
Serving in one of these small groups will help you feel connected to a church family and build new positive friendships.

If, after a brief period, you love it and feel energized about serving in that capacity, we will gladly sign you up. But if you decide that particular area just wasn’t for you, then you are free to try something else until we find the spot where you are excited to be serving!

Café

Whether you enjoy a “cup of Joe” or an exquisitely poured espresso shot, the Summit Café staff will train you on the fine art of espresso making and customer service. It’s a fun and sometimes fast paced environment. Bring your smile, sense of adventure, and a teachable spirit and we’ll provide the rest.

Graphic Design

Do you have an artistic flair? Ever used Photoshop? Be a part of the team in the “know” and help communicate what’s going on with “pizzazz” to the rest of the church. There are several projects that are always going on and your skills can be matched to the size and scope that best fits you. From lobby posters, and announcement slides, to web sites and hand outs, let your creative gift flow.

Greeter Check in

Check in greeters assist parents with checking their children into Victory Kids each Sunday. You’ll need to arrive a half an hour before service. The system is easy to learn, but you should feel “comfortable” working on a computer and of course offer a friendly smile to bring reassurance to a first time mom. Victory Kids offers a great opportunity to connect with people and to be a part of a team.

Sound

If you have experience running sound or are interested in learning, come and be a part of the sound team. Rehearsals and training are Thursday evenings from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. In addition to Sunday mornings, there are other opportunities throughout the week in which to run sound. Come and be a part of a great team.

Ushers

The usher team exists to help people connect with God by removing distractions. Men and women are encouraged to be a part of this team. Ushers serve every other month and you can choose from volunteering for just third service or for first and second. As an usher you’ll develop team and leadership skills as we focus on providing excellent “customer service” to the body of Christ. If you have a great attitude and teachable heart, we want to invite you to give it a try and be a part of a dynamic team.

Video

Victory Life services are seen on Cable Access each week—Sunday’s at 9:00 pm and Thursday’s at noon. Many people started attending Victory Life after first seeing a service on T.V.

You can be a part of the team that helps get the message out by volunteering. Being a part of the video team, you will be trained on how to set up a shot, framing, and leading the shot.  Volunteers serve once a month for two services…so get ready…Lights, camera, and ACTION!

Worship Graphics

A great behind the scene spot, yet important in creating an atmosphere of worship. The worship graphics team loads the songs we sing each week into the software and displays the words to the songs in sync with the worship team. You just need to feel “comfortable” using computers. Training is held Sunday mornings at 8:00 am. Members of the team serve one Sunday a month.
